GDNBS has a commercial agreement with Blast It Global who has partnered with Down to Earth Training & Assessing and has a commercial arrangement to provide nationally accredited training utilising Down to Earth Training & Assessing scope of registration. Down to Earth is an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) accredited through ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority), which is nationally recognised, giving this training national recognition.

Nationally Accredited Underground Shotfirer and Open Cut Shotfirer Training
Global Drill & Blast Services has scheduled training for the theory component of Underground and Open Cut Shotfirer Training. Completing the 3-day Shotfirer / Blaster training course, plus the required practical experience, will enable you to achieve the "Statement of Attainment for UG and OC Shotfiring Competencies". Training provided by Global Drill & Blast Services in alliance with Blast It Global and is recognised by the D.M.I.R.S Western Australia, SafeWork South Australia and Resource Safety and Health Queensland as proof of training competency for acquiring the relevant states Shotfirers Licence.
Global Drill & Blast Services is not an RTO and all SOA's are issued by Down to Earth Training & Assessing.
Magazine Keeper \ Controller Training
Global Drill & Blast Services in alliance with Blast It Global conducts a Magazine Keeper training course meets the requirements of AS2187.1 to ensure that Appointed Magazine Keepers have been provided formal training with reference to their responsibilities and duties. Training is mapped to the National Training Competency
"RIIBLA205E Store, Handle and Transport of Explosives". On successful completion of the practical and theory components training will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the qualification. Training conducted on request for a minimum of 4 trainees.

Support Shotfiring Operations
Global Drill & Blast Services conducts the RIIBLA201E Support Shotfiring Operations. This course focusses on the key legislative, safety and operational requirements of using explosives for blasting operations. On successful completion of the practical and theory components training will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the qualification.
Training conducted on request for a minimum of 4 trainees.

Blast Design & Application Course
The Blast Design & Application course with Blast It Global has been developed to provide basic to intermediate knowledge to Blast Designers, Blast Supervisors, Managers to successfully design and implement safe, compliant and productive blasting operations. Training is conducted over 2 days and trainees are issued with a certificate of attendance.
Blast Designer Training
Advanced Blast designer training is mapped to the National Unit of Competency (UoC) RIIBLA403 Design blasts. Blast It Global has created a course delivered by Global Drill & Blast Services which explores the science of blasting with reference to real examples to assist with validation of learnings. All trainees have the opportunity to gain a Statement of Attainment (SOA) on successful completion of the practical evidence collection upon returning to their respective sites.
